Course Description

This evening lecture will review treatment strategies when planning comprehensive prosthodontic cases. Practical tips in planning cases where a loss of vertical dimension of occlusion has occurred will be outlined. Treatment modalities including fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics will be presented as part of the case histories. Furthermore, participants are invited to bring their cases for group discussion as well as send in questions in advance which will be incorporated in the presentation. Speaker

Dr. Effrat Habsha

Dr. Effrat Habsha earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 1991. She completed her dental training at the University of Toronto and received her DDS from the University of Toronto in 1995. Upon graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Habsha received her diploma in Prosthodontics in 1998 and Master of Science degree in 2000, both from the University of Toronto. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Dr. Habsha’s work in Prosthodontics extends beyond her private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in Toronto. From her work as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, to Staff Prosthodontist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto and to the Editor for the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada
